What will my contract dates be? When can I move in/out?
FOUND books all reservations by the semester with both 9- and 12-month options: Spring 2024: Term dates: 1/06/2024 – 5/18/2024 Late check in option: To be announced Late check out option: 5/22/2024 Summer 2024: Term dates: 5/25/2023 – 8/03/2024 Late check in Option: 6/01/2024 Late check out Option: 8/10/2024
How much does it cost to live at FOUND Study?
Rooms for the Spring 2024 semester at FOUND Study Midtown East start at $8,133/semester for a standard double room. Rooms for the Spring 2024 semester at FOUND Study Turtle Bay start at $8,133.33/semester for a standard double room. For more information on pricing, head to our website.
Can I choose my roommate?
Yes! You may enter your preferred roommate's name on the application. Once both students have applied you will be matched together based on the name you have entered in the “Roommate” field.
Can I use financial aid to pay for housing?
You can speak with your school when applying for financial aid and let them know that you will need funds for living expenses. Since financial aid is typically paid to you directly, you need to coordinate how the funds get from your school/other third party to FOUND Study. A security deposit payment, membership fee, and 1st month's rent payment are required to be paid before move-in.
What documents do I need to provide on my application?
- Proof of enrollment letter from a college, university, or educational program - Photo ID, state or passport (if international provide F1 or I-20 Visa) - Self-Qualify: Pass a credit and background check, provide proof of income / financial aid funds are 2x the value of your term contract - Qualify With Guarantor: Guarantor passes a credit and background check, provide proof of income is 2x the value of your term contract
